i bought one .. love it. i wish you could click addresses and have them load in the maps like you can with phone numbers
and i wish i could send pictures through sms
and copy/paste
hopefully when new functions become available it's just a matter of upgrading the OS.

(Oct 14 07, 19:05)you can find the address book from within the maps application, can't remember how as I don't have one, but there's either a contacts window, or just start typing the persons name.

i recently installed an app that allows me to take photos and have them pushed directly to my flickr account, and another that gives the phone gps. i might have to wipe the whole thing and start over so it doesn't void the phone now. :(

(Sep 25 07, 12:42)if apple voids the phone tht you purchased legally, they are exremely vulnerable to multi-million dollar law suits..
I dont think thats going to happen while the law is on the consumer side...

i've used the contact address feature but since i just drove across the country and googled a lot of random places to visit i really wanted to be able to click the address and have it load in maps.
otherwise you have to completely memorize it as the maps screen doesn't hold partial information.
interesting point, meeklo.

Canada's last for everything. For some odd reason.
I expect the prices will be closer to the oiriginal iPhone price here (even though the dollar is on par with the U.S. dollar), especially with Rogers being the carrier.

I just got one a few weeks ago and I love this thing. There are a few things that it just doesn't do. A lot of the things that Shari pointed out a couple posts ago. But otherwise, it's a real treat to use.
A coworker/friend of mine got a Nokia N95, which does quite a bit and is over twice the price of the iPhone. But when he showed it to me, I just wasn't nearly as impressed with it. It's not as intuitive, or as fun to use. In contrast I gave my iPhone to my 12 year old cousin and in about 30 seconds of learning how to use it, she asks 'Why do you have pictures of you on the toilet?...' Oops! I had to explain that it was a joke...but still, she was flying around the thing in no time!
When I use it, I get the feeling that this is finally a phone that has caught up to all the little things we expect now out of an electronic device. Oh and it gets you laid too, makes your breath smell better and I never have to do my hair anymore.
