Because my 20GB ipod has gotten way too small for my entire music collection - nu-polka and otherwise.

(Sep 25 07, 13:00)MG, do you ever go see any of the local chicago punk polka bands?

hmm. yeah i haven't heard anything if that will work or not joyride.
i know what may not work though... the connector that plugs into the iphone. apple, for whatever reason made it so that only apple headphones will plug into it. most other headphone jacks are too big and won't fit it. you may have to buy a $4.99 connector.

naw, it connects through the bottom port as when you connect to a computer. That is the same as a normal ipod right?

ah. then you might be ok then joyride but i can't be positive.

It depends on how bad you want your mail and how much you care about the extras. I personally don't need my mail as quickly as a Blackberry delivers it, but I do like to check on it now and then.
My dad just got rid of his iPhone for a Blackberry because his mail server didn't work well with the iPhone. My brother happily took my dad's iPhone and now uses it without any problems.
I use Gmail (I can't get my work mail on it due to server issues) so I'm more than happy with it and love the fact that I no longer need to carry a phone, iPod, camera, laptop, GPS, etc.

I wouldn't get a Blackberry for a pretty good reason:
Our law firm recently went completely from Treos to Blackberrys, and believe me, the most important reason wasn't that Blackberry's work better...
...it was in large part due to the stigma of the word Blackberry and their popularity. I think some of our people actually felt out of the loop or something since they couldn't say "I'll check it on my Blackberry."

Anybody on here got their new iPhone or iPod Touch connected to the iPod interface on a new MINI?
Me Mini is arriving on the 8th Oct and I'd love to use the new iPod Touch or iPhone in it.

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act has a provision in it about cell phones. I'm not quoting exactly but it says something about cell phones and once you own the phone you can hack it to use on any service. No one can stop this from happening including AT&T or APPLE.

Questions: when is the iphone coming to EU?
EU is entirely on 3G network right?
- Jaline0
Personally, I would wait for the next gen. I want to see what kind of things Apple will include in the updates, and if they actually will be cracking down on hacked phones.
I'm biased too though, since I don't really care for phones.

shit... i just caved and bought an iPhone, but now that i see the next gen. will have the 3G... fuck... oh well. i guess i'll just have to buy the next one too... and continue being in debt till my grave, but that will likely happen anyways.

I can tell you from experience, that Blackberries are the way to go. I've had 4 different models and don't think I would switch, specially to AT&T...

once the next gen iPhone comes out I'm coppin' that and wifey gets a first gen iPhone hand-me-down. Problem solved.

all updates i can live with out ... where is the flash support ???
- k0na_an0k0
some of those updates are way overdue and really should have been released with the phone.
i'm glad there is no flash support. if there was i'd be on nt with the damn phone too. and that would just be unacceptable.
haha.
- BattleAxe0
yea , NT does look like ass on Iphone ....
