    It depends on how bad you want your mail and how much you care about the extras. I personally don't need my mail as quickly as a Blackberry delivers it, but I do like to check on it now and then.

    My dad just got rid of his iPhone for a Blackberry because his mail server didn't work well with the iPhone. My brother happily took my dad's iPhone and now uses it without any problems.

    I use Gmail (I can't get my work mail on it due to server issues) so I'm more than happy with it and love the fact that I no longer need to carry a phone, iPod, camera, laptop, GPS, etc.
