I always found it more original to not have a tattoo.

(Mar 23 07, 08:25)when i lived in miami i was one of something like 2 women i knew who did NOT have tattoos, and i have to say that i did receive comments from men about it.

i plan on getting one, but i havent found a REASON to..
i reckon when something happens that is worth remembering for the rest of my life ill get one.. ie-if i go an an amazing trip to Indo, and surf mad waves.. ill get a tat to remind me, If I ever survive a bike crash, ill get one, when i graduate ill get one.."
then when ur gkids ask u about these in 50 years time, u can tell them about all these stories...
as opposed to being really embarrassed when u try to explain why you have a snake fucking a girl with wings all over your back, or who was Slayer-and why are athey all over your forehead..

Haha, Oldelpaso.. I was just writing an email about that. Yes, vintage art is 'the thing' now, too.

I believe that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about your tattoo.
I have kanji. I don't regret it. I have two great stories behind them, and I wouldn't give it up for the world.
Get what you want. Trendy or not. Just get it for yourself.

(Mar 23 07, 08:33)that makes sense. I guess it depends on where you live. More than half the people around here don't have tattoos.

it's the people who associate the word "trend" with tattoos that just see them as that. A fad, stereotypical, etc etc.
It's the others that don't care what others think that I find more interesting. Ink or not.
- Jaline0
Yup, you're right, Justin. You could say the same thing for most trends, actually. But tattoos are so varied that they're more interesting.

I was going to get my name tattooed on my penis...

yeah.. ive seen so many ppl with the whole "two swallow facing eachother on the upperchest/neckbone, or achors in the inner forearms, a toaster on the leg, or even slotmachine cherries on the hip..."
the whole rockabilly, retro shit ill also die soon..
memories dont go out of fashion (although it also comes down to HOW you represent these memories!)
- woodyBatts0
I heart you too brooke. I like your apt photos...and your huka.
- brooke0
I heart Mal's penis joke, too.
I *think* it's a joke anyway.

I do think there's alot of sailor, old school stuff around at the moment but I wouldn't say it's the new tribal. The sailor stuff can have much more idea related things in it.....it's all cyclical really, tribal will probably come back in sometime soon....

no pattern piece on my back...
