It has a double meaning in a way. I like the saying in and of itself also, but then its a quote from Rushmore, so it's both serious and humorous at the same time.

In NYC I saw a dude on the subway with the best evil clown tattoo i've ever seen on his forearm.
I'd always thought about an evil clown tattoo, since I was catatonically terrified of Pennywise the clown as a child. Now I think I want one so I can permanently dispel the fear.
