Yes, chossy, but I'm actually very indecisive about things. So I need a while longer, and even time to establish some more meaningful relationships, before dwelling into the idea of permanency.

Good thing I'm actually a part of a not-yet trendy-but-will-probably-be-in-t... culture then, eh?

I thought about it... never will though.
Got an idea but I ain't sharing that.
I always quite liked the 'mechanical' joint idea – ie, elbow or knee. Like that Missy Elliot music video.

This sounds so stereotypical, but if all I did was play music, I'd probably get one.
One of my favorite odd ones I ever saw was in high school at a tattoo place with a friend, and it said "Born in Smoke" and had a baby wrapped up with a cigarette. Horrible.

The trend is new, not the art.

i just meant that it makes no sense to write off an entire style of art because it's popular. that style is very rich in meaning and history, and i find it quite beautiful.

I only regret the tattoos I got as a teenager (which are now removed).
I want tons more, but have learned that good, lasting tattoos require patience. The idea of 'forever' only scares me a little.

It's a fucking tattoo for gods I had some shite japanese symbol on my leg once and when I didn't like it I got someone to whack a massive arrow over it and when I don't like that I'll whack some other shit over that anall so fuck I love getting ink and I like the feeling as well :/ I'm going to get something gay and floral this time I think and when I don't like that I'll get a clown fuckign a cheatah.

I always found it more original to not have a tattoo.
To be honest, I think most people who have tattoos are lemmings.
Well, if the tattoo is good I guess I don’t mind.
But I’d say 90% of the tattoo artists in the world are horrible.

Hey Blaw, Sputnik said it best. Tattoos should mean something.
- brooke0
Or maybe they shouldn't. I don't know.
:)

(Mar 23 07, 08:22)And should still be good.
I don’t care about your dead friend, that picture of him/her on your arm looks horrid.

I've been on the waiting list for this dude for a year.
He broke his collar bone :( which has put everything behind.

he he true flavourful if it's shite it's shite.
a great tattoo my pal was going to get was an old guy looing in the mirror but seeing a young dude or something like that and he went in to get it and this tattoo artist said nope it's gay I'm not doing it he he :/ what a wee shame.
- chossy0
looing = looking oopsie

(Mar 23 07, 08:22)That is such a lame, old argument :P

I just got a wicked old school anchor and some dice on the inside of my arm. Looks ace and is pretty sneaky so it's not always on show. Planning my next one for July, then will probably leave it for a bit.
Mate of mine is thinking about getting a monkey on his back (as he likes a drink.)
The Kiwi tatooist who did mine is getting RIFF RAFF on his knuckles, which wouldn't suit me but would look so awesome on him.

(from previous tattoo thread)
I think guys who have a few tattoos are attractive, depending on (1) why they have tattoos, (2) what they mean. And (bonus) if the tattoos aren't overly noticeable.

(Jan 19 07, 09:55)I don't have problems with tons of very noticable tattoos, but it really depends on the artwork. As long as it's not ugly, of course.
