haha.
This week has been a nightmare.
I haven't been able to workout since Monday night. :(
I've dropped about 5lbs since starting on the 15th. Not good but not bad. Can't wait to hit the gym tonight.

A workout plan to keep you going and change things up.
Some input in the FC Trials.
Questions have been answered in the "Ask Michelle" section.
We have made a goal to take photos of a workout this weekend so you can see the movement and actions in motion, and hopefully it will explain exercises like the "Skull Crushers" and "Ball Chop"

I've been going strong, however I have been slacking big time on the posting commitment.
Fuck a job, fuck freelance... but soon, I'll be back in the swing of things

hi kona,
quick question
are potatoes bad??
As in are the bad sort of carbs? starch? what are they?
I'm following a high protein diet, to build lean muscle mass.
Thanks!

Hi Kuz,
Sweet Potatoes are far better than regular Potatoes, maybe not in taste but they are a much better carb than the normal Potato.
Read here. Tips on cooking too.

Long time no Fit Club update!
Since the 1st of Jan., I've lost about 10 solid lbs, and I've been as low as 12lbs.
I need to post some more recipes on the NT Fit Club site, but I actually just started a food and design blog where I've posted a good amount of recipes.
Just yesterday I posted one on Sweet Potatoes for breakfast, where you cook it, top it with some yogurt, honey, and granola. I did some investigating and apparently sweet potatoes are quite healthy and nutrious. Check my blog for more info for the time being, but I'll post it on the NT one soon.
Oh, and I just posted over in the PBS that Guinness is only 125 calories. So drink up guys and gals!

Man, you guys, I've been doing pretty good - I do great when I go grocery shopping every two weeks for tons of healthy foods to keep at work, eat 5 times a day, etc. It's just too damn cold to run lately.
But, sadly, I caved to the one thing I gave up for 1 1/2 months:

Just told a coworker, "IF I were single and heartbroken, these hot buffalo wing pretzen pieces might be all I need to get by."

I've been doing really good even though my weight is now holding at 183. I've only lost 7lbs on the scale but my waist has dropped almost 2 inches.
It's sometimes difficult cause I know I'm replacing fat with muscle so my weight is staying the same, but damn, I really want to drop those 15lbs. I might have to tone down the weight training a bit and focus more on cardio. :/

i have a big issue w/time right now...i just can't seem to get on the treadmill more than 3 or 4 days a week. it's driving me crazy. at least i'm eating very well, but i've never been much of a junk food person.
i need the exercise now, most of all. i need to find a way to do it daily.

I hear ya k0na...I was doing weights for a while while also doing cardio and my weight just stayed the same. I'm looking to lose the weight more than I'm looking to be jacked, so for the time being I'm sticking to cardio til I get to the weight I want, then I'll switch back to weights.
And Synder's of Hanover honey mustard pretzels are insanely good as well. But if you are trying to be good, the Rold's Gold honey wheat sticks are a great way to go.

(Feb 21 07, 10:04)Yeah I'm using a few supplements.
Lean Body Protein Shakes 2x daily.
1000mg Vitamin C (mornings)
400iu Vitamin E (mornings)
BCAA 2x a day
Tight 1x a day
Multivitamin
I dropped Glutamine as it was making me hold a lot of water.
Glucosamine 1x a day.I was using the Muscle Milk for a long time but it had too much fat for me. (18 grams per serving). It's hard for me to find a protein shake that doesn't upset my stomach as I'm lactose intollerant, but Lean Body is ok.
- k0na_an0k0
hahaha Point5!
I supposed what really has to happen is I have to tone UP my cardio to an hour+ at a time. Damn... I just get so bored.

So i have been on this NT FIT program for a little while now, and some one in the thread recommended taking some suppliments. So I started taking some steroids. I might be going crazy but I swear my balls are getting smaller. But other than the rash on my back things are going well.
- Point50
nuck, uh, you've been taking female horse steroids.
- joyride0
400 whew!
