i'd like to thank all of you for the inspiration and motivation you've passed on to the wife and i.
we've never been in this good of shape, or worked out as hard or eaten as good in quite a long time.
just recently a man approached my wife after she was finished teaching a boot-camp class at lifetime fitness. the was in town from california on business and wanted a word with my wife michelle.
seems he's a producer and was interested in speaking with my wife and her boot-camp training partner about producing workout training videos of their bootcamp class.
we have a formal meeting with him on sunday presenting our plan.
thanks to all of you. this would not have happened without this thread.

awesome k0na. don't forget about me when you need people to fill in the background of that video. I'll be the big guy falling down constantly.
on another note, I rode the ol' bike 14 miles across this dustbowl of a city on Sunday... I love biking man, all about it. I'm still hovering at 223lbs., I've really got to get to doing cardio everyday + at least 3 two a day sessions a week to get down to 215...

Awesome k0na. Congratulations.
I was just thinking it could be a cool idea if we had a page/chart to track all of our exercise. As in Monday: Bicycling 4 miles, etc.
It could be motivating as it would be embarrassing to have your chart be blank.

thanks a ton guys! point5 the wife wants me to go along for the meeting so i can see what the guy has to say. she's like 'you'll totally be one of the guys doing our excercises' to which i replied 'i'd be the guy in the back out of focus dying within the first 10 minutes'. haha.
i tried to do her bootcamp class once.

i know.
it sure would make me get up in the mornings for my run.
currently it's mon, tues and thurs mornings i get up and jog for 30 minutes, but really, i only make it out two of those days, maybe. this would really help out. haha.

i've just got myself an elypitcal... and do 30 mins on it... (or an episode and a half of 'everybody loves raymond) on DVD... and on the other days do some crunches with weights... only been doing it a few days... and I ache all over :)

I went on the treadmill for about 4 days in a row, 30 min. each time.
I missed two days, and I plan on continuing tomorrow.
I also need to eat well...
we'll see how it goes.

A few years a go I saw Henry Rollins speak. I remember he was talking about being in texas shooting lost highway and how he went to a gym and there was a guy there dumbell pressing with 100lbs in each hand.
Yesterday I was that guy!
