I remember seeing kroyf *spelling, Pele and some other world class players on these Budweiser tapes my dad would give me with highlights of the years league play, and to tell you the truth, NASL was the shit fr a minute, I really don't know what happened. He won't "save" soccer in the US, but he will help it. Galaxy will make their $ back selling mech. and taking to team on the road.
To save soccer in the US, you have to teach it in school and have it be as "important" as the other sports.
"Understanding" (or appreciating soccer takes patience. Somethnig most US sports fans don't have. They want a Vegas show with their sports and they can't except a tied game.
