right, i'm sure that's fully in context, mrdobolina. I'm sure you are extremely careful in presenting what Dobson teaches.
lol
I'll go to the source, thank you.

My observation is that women are merely waiting for their husbands to assume leadership.

But GW needs those babies for food.

oy. FOF has an agenda that propels them. As far as you can tell is just that: an opinion based upon your values. I respect your right to believe what you like but don't minimize the issue based upon your opinion. It's not so simple.

gabriel: a text out of context becomes a pretext. And almost always for error.
Write that down.
Regardless, even out of context, I would agree with that snipet. Married women don't want spineless vacillating husbands. No big press release needed there.

flagellum, dobson's minister father used to kick the living shit out of him for using words like "hot dog" to express excitement. Because it was a "slippery slope" to profanity.
doesn't really surprise me that he is such a freaky square.

monkeyshine: I'm not concerned with agendas in general. I'm interested in the data for and against issues. Data... period. And FOF's primary "agenda" is to defend the traditional family and it's role in shaping the United States from the very beginning.
Insidious, eh? ;)

treating women like less than the husband is incorrect, do you disagree?

When it comes to human life, I'm going to err on the side of protecting it. Especially when we know that important research can be conducted without the loss of it.

oh only if NT could fix the world... but by the looks of it the most we could do is design a package and website for stem cells brands, now in assorted colors

(Jul 18 06, 11:15)Who advocates this? What does it mean to "treat a woman like less". Clearly, you are totally unfamiliar with the FOF organization. And I'm guessing you're not married either.
Go and read a book by this highly influential organization then we'll talk.

Do you think think that women should be imprisoned/executed for having an abortion?
- monkeyshine0
I didn't understand a word you said. If you were interested in data you wouldn't be quoting sources like FOF.
And letting this discussion devolve into a debate about abortion and family values is a vast waste of time and energy.

Thank you for reaching The Enlightenment. We are unavailable at this time due to a resurgence of fear, stupidity and religious fervor. When this whole Second Revival of the Middle Ages is over, please call me back so we can get promtply back to the business of progress and rational development of the species. Until then, good luck and try not to kill everyone off about who's god has the bigger dick in the meantime.
Thank you for calling.

LMAO @ flagellum linking family.org!

monkeyshine: Of course I would quote sources like FOF for accurate data. As I stated, they possess more than the right credentials in researching these issues and presenting the facts.
Again, this issue is one that boils down to a person's underlying world view.
- flagellum0
LOL@ jevad for not knowing or caring to know the facts on this issue.
You're principled, jevad. You just don't know why you are. Thus, your passion is misplaced.

My point on bringing up imprisonment/execution for women who have abortions is that most normal people would say that they didn't think that people should be imprisoned for having them. But they would say someone should be imprisoned for killing a 4 year old kid. meaning that that person realizes that there is a difference between an embryo and a full grown child.
