flagellum, I am sorry to continually paste blueone's comments, but these are valid questions.
And I'm a fairly regular guy who happens to believe that there are logical & reliable reasons not to embrace Biblical Christianity.
(and wait..there are other forms of christianity other than the Biblical one? Are you counting all the other gospels they decided to throw out for politicla reasons a few hundred years into the progrom?)

I just hate religious hypocrisy with a passion.
I meet more religious hypocrites than I do actual spiritual people.
"As long as I profess the faith, I'm OK" even though I fuck around on my wife, live a slothful life and so on.
It is as though most people profess their religion just to keep up with the Jones's and I think that attribute is one of the worst ones that someone can have.
