actually i agree with flagellum on that, the term gays is insulting. I'd put inverted commas into that too. Amistad Maupin preferred the adjective, to the noun, and found gay as a noun offensive. He said "i'am a gay man, not a gay"

I mean, clearly I'm generalising - but some Gays do let their sexuality define their character - just as some Welsh let their nationality define them.
I'm not sure what that, in general terms, says about gay welshmen, but that's a matter for a different day.

You guys have to give flagellum some credit, he's in the minority 'round these parts, and is certainly not the only person who struggles with their temper (i'm looking in your direction, mr. dobs...) or is openly dogmatic. He just so happens to see things differently than most NT regulars. I say vive la difference!!

There is no proof that being gay is a choice. Just like race isn't a choice.
I give him no credit, if it were 50 years ago he may be saying it was unnatural for mixed race couples to marry. There really is no difference in my mind.

And if he thinks people should change, what's it to you? Why does this threaten you? Why do you accord him so much power? Can he manipulate anyone into changing their lifestyle?
