Sorry discipler, but you've implied more than once that sin is hereditary. If it is, then it's obviously undectable since the human genome is obviously adapting in a beneficial way and not deteriorating like you're suggesting.
As far as people living forever through science I think it's entirely within reason.

I never said that I thought sin was empirically detectable. My point was that the evidence we have of genetic predispositions for doing unhealthy things would suggest that we see the natural results of sin.

Have you read the Song of Songs? I'd say it takes quite the opposite stance.
That stance is primarily held by very traditional catholics who hold the church and specifically the pope as more authoritative than the Bible.
