He created the first humans, flaws and all. Deny that and you've got issues.

(Jun 5 06, 09:19)He created the first humans sinless and therefore perfect. He created them with the free-will to choose to rebel. Sin was introduced when they indeed chose to rebel and gradually... entropy would leave it's marks.
Initially, sin would not have had such deleterious effects. The many children of Adam and Eve would have produced children together without the genetic problems that would result from such unions eons later.
Sidenote - many Christians believe in a framework interpretation of Adam and Eve. In Hebrew, Adam means "humanity".

Many Christians also believe that the end of the world is coming in their own lifetimes. A delusion of self-importance, that is part-in-parcel to the religion itself, which basically promotes the idea that God is justifying his own sovereignty through the obediance and significance of mankind.

a true christian wouldn't care about the end of the world... thats not even an important factor... right?

It was to John of Patmos. Wasn't he a "true Christian"?
- Momentum20
who's that?

Yes, many Christians do believe that the end of the world is coming and that they will witness it. However I'm not sure how this demonstrates a delusion of self-importance. The message of the Bible is one which is contrary to an attitude of self-importance - i.e. that we are a fallen race which is spiritually bankrupt and that there's nothing we can do about our condition. This message is contrary to that of world religions which teach a performance-based system of righteousness which glorifies the religious accomplishments of the individual.
"God is justifying his own sovereignty through the obediance and significance of mankind." - This is nothing more than an unwarranted assumption. You certainly won't find this communicated in the scriptures. Rather, we read of a God whose sovereignty remains established & unwavering regardless of the condition, or decisions of his creatures.

that's the funny thing about numerology, you can prove anything.
I think it's warranted to say that they've conviently dropped the "20" from the year to make it 666.
When, in reality, it's 06.06.2006.
Now THAT'S fucking spooky!

It's warranted. It's an extension of the Judeo/Christian mythos which started in the book of Job. Satan uses Job to test God's resolve and intention with his creation(mankind). So the Theological lesson here is that mankind is special because by faith and obediance God will be proven sovereign to the fallen angels. The same could be said within the Gospels where Satan tempts Jesus in the desert.
