I don't think anyone anticipated the breech of the leveys.
I don't think anyone can tell you right now with confidence if the leveys will be topped or not, but that's obviously a very very grave concern.

When the planes hit the World Trade Centers I don't think anyone could have told you right then with confidence that the buildings were going to fall, but it was I imagine a very very grave concern as well. Not sure how the two are different, and much the same after 911, the cleanup and destruction was far greater than anyone could have imagined.
I think it's shitty how many things were handled in NO, but, so many people dropped the ball how can you blame just one?

I drive home 12 miles every night. I don't think anyone could ever tell me with confidence that I'm going to be getting into an accident on the way home tonight. There is a chance, but no one can be certain. Should I just be safe and take the bus? And if it happens who will tell me I told you so and who can I blame for me not listening?

I didn't click the intial link, I take it's about New Orleans ... my comment was more about the second link which referenced the port security.
Which boggles my mind that the only question of 'do you have any ties to terrorism' being the only means of investigation into if the company has in fact ... any ties whatsoever to terrorism in the past or present.

Yes yes I know mrdobolina. I think we all know how horrible a man he his and how unqualified he is to run a country but at some point in time we all have to face facts. There is absolutely nothing we can do to get him out of office any sooner, so why bust yourself up about it on a daily basis. He sucks. I get it. He's bad... I get it. He can't speak right... I get it. But what I also get is looking to the future and hoping that the higher percentage of people who voted for him this past election see's the same thing we do in him and his party.
I don't get pissed in traffic because there is nothing I can do to avoid it once I'm in it... you should do the same.
Bush and his party suck. Deal with it.
