Well, no one actually came out and said in that video that the levees were going to break. The guy said "I don't think anyone can tell you right now with confidence if the leveys will be topped or not, but that's obviously a very very grave concern."
I drive home 12 miles every night. I don't think anyone could ever tell me with confidence that I'm going to be getting into an accident on the way home tonight. There is a chance, but no one can be certain. Should I just be safe and take the bus? And if it happens who will tell me I told you so and who can I blame for me not listening?
