"should i be censored?"
dude, you've got issues. i was trying to stay on track and keep the chat out of the schoolyard.
have a good night guys!

couwell, the ONLY(!) person using the black vs. white, european vs. american argument is you.
-sputnik-
(Nov 3 05, 14:14)no in fact i am not.
---
see other post for motivation.

i sense serious frustration in your post there, garettwest. it goes to show how deeply rooted the US situation is. Us vs. Them. Black vs. White. Poor vs. Rich. Good vs. Evil..
etcetera

ok, good night for real now...gotta run.

so there is again the least of criticism on US policy and what happens? the offended person leaves the debate.
i am not pointing fingers but obviously i am one of the few europeans posting late and always argueing with US NT-citizens who, i am speaking from experience, are always so easily upset when it comes to acknowledging differences.
i was hoping you would counter my statements with your story. i can handle it.

from way earlier:
"Look at the L.A., Watts, or even the Detroit riots,"
which worked out famously for the people of Watts and Detroit (which has more ABANDONED square footage than then entire city of boston has sq ft in general).

i have an easy solution - kick ALL their asses the f*ck out and tell them never to come back
fadeproof
(Nov 3 05, 14:23)What if the native indians had a meeting and decided to kick everyones ass of their land?
I guess you wouldn't like that.
- Crouwel0
intersting point bradpitt.
what i read in this thread was that people simply blamed the rioters and say they need to take responsibility. i understand that, the blaming.
but you don't just send them a letter or tell them in their face to take their own responsibility and be a good citizen. i am afraid that would be a little too simplistic. it just does not work that way.
YET i witness this sort of rethoric more on the US side then on the EU side and i was simply poiting out a deeply rooted political difference between EU and US.
- bradpitt0
I totally agree janne. ppl like fadeproof don't see the bigger picture and how everything leads up to the situations.
Shit hits the fan doesn't mean you just isolate those rioters, you need to work with them and find a solution. Rather than making a typical ignorant comment like fadeproof.
- Crouwel0
indeed.
eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth was something for the dark ages.
not for modern humanist society.
- bradpitt0
stuff like this happens everyday in parts of africa, i don't see people here getting all worked up over that.
- emokid0
i think both sides are responsible for the mess they're in. i have never lived in paris so i can't claim to be an expert but blaming just the rioters is a pretty narrow view on things.
most people in this thread upset at the rioters are presenting solutions without trying to understand the history or why this is even happening. shoot first think later approach is not the best one.
- Crouwel0
we must never forget the bigger picture. Us Europeans are very guilty of messing up Africa. The mess that seems to never end is not something we can ignore. Our colonist grandgrandgrandfathers are responsible for our wealth but also for the serious political instability in Africa.
We drew borders were they never should be.
We divided a continent by ingoring native cultures and their political status quo.
Now these people flee Africa looking for a new life in Europe and here they are left in the poorest of poorest situations and are widely ignored. Yes, even on the educational level.
- bradpitt0
Thank you janne, people don't think about things that way. i hope mr. fadeproof is reading this thread now.
Funny he has disappeared.
- bradpitt0
I agree with emo, both sides have their flaws.
- uberdesigner0
the french are too much a group of pussies to commit the genocide they wish for
- fadeproof0
well, sue your democratic rights and vote LePen. Oh and close your borders and embrace intellectual isolation.
Crouwel
(Nov 3 05, 14:24)intellectual isolation?!?!?! if that means closing my borders to illiterate, angry, unemployed, cancerous people who cant even speak the national language and look for nothing more than sucking dry government resources for free when these resources SHOULD be going to the hard working native people of my country........then call me a big fat isolationist
- LooseSphinctee0
you're a big fat isolationist
- fadeproof0
Shit hits the fan doesn't mean you just isolate those rioters, you need to work with them and find a solution.
bradpitt
(Nov 3 05, 14:36)exactly! lets work with them! BUT, before we can get in to the neighborhood, we have to put out the car fires and secure the wrecked buildings! OH, and WHEN u clear the city streets, be sure to DODGE the BULLETS these assholes are shooting at u! bradpitt, my little fairy, why dont u go in and try talking to this crazed destitute mob? i'll televize it!!!
oh, and your bleeding heart is getting all over my f*ckin shoes, move it.
- lowimpakt0

- lowimpakt0
