yeah i live in 76th at around 2nd ave. the area is very neighborhood-ie and we do have lots of great restaurants in the area. central park is 3 blocks away and madison ave is also real close. if you've ever been to the village you pretty much know whats its like. this is not as crowded as the village but equally "trendy", and only a few stops to Grand Central. it's peaceful comparing it to say ... greenwich but fun is just around the corner here too.
