During the GP, everyone down here leaves. It's insanely loud, you can hear tires screaming and the engines revving all the way to Italy, and a window seat at a decent 2-star restaurant while the race is on is like 5K EUR.

my dad was actually just in monte carlo for a few months looking after this hotel property that the company he used to work for just bought... he missed xmas as a result. great hotel though... fucker.
we almost moved to m.c. when i was in grade 6... our apartment in the hotel had a balcony that was directly above the track for the grand prix... you see the balcony on tv every time the cars go under it... that would have been pretty crazy. but alas, dad didnt take the job and we stayed in cold ass quebec city :)

Yeah, well the GP is ok with me, I like that kinda' sh*t. At least once, I used to go to Indy 500 as a kid.

Around 2500 USD / square meter for the cheaper, the more exclusive ones are insanely expensive.
1 sq foot = 0.09290304 sq meters
(i dont have the energy to convert)
But its an investment, the prices will never drop, especially since there are no taxes.

Well I suppose its near Fontvielle since everything is within walking distance , being the 3rd smallest country in the world and all.
It doesn't 'technically' belong to Monaco with the old standards though, so french law applies but with the new standards made like 2 years ago, it does belong to it. (dont ask me what exactly 'the standards' are becuase I don't know, but there have been discussions about where the city limits are , and its outside)

Yep, thats for regular workers. Don't get me started how they tax you to death if you run a company and have employees. It's absolutely crazy, and almost not worth it. To pay somebody 1K costs the employer about 4K in taxes and other stupid fees.

ah sum!!! I too am jealous, I'm looking but waiting for a good time to buy. Is there an interactive industry as well? Please send pictures of your pad when you can. I'm currently looking out my window right now in sunny Cali and can only imagine what it may look like over there. I know the grass is always greener, but it depends on what grass your standing on.
