JazX, to you it makes no difference, to a person with thousands of dollars in medical expenses monthly and the inability to work, it does.
- kpl0
so kerry is an asshole. So was clinton. And i was damn sure better off when Clinton was in office.
we're electing a president, not a pope. the objective is to get a president that will kill less people, you bleeding hearts.
- JazX0
yeah dob, but I don't think Kerry will be the one to break down the entire 'no medical benefits' barrier.
- thinkmule0
Flip flop.
Poll chaser.

Kerry believes Bush is mishandling matters and would like 20,000 more troops in the region.
I posted that above kpl. Woudn't that mean MORE deaths?!? More troops = a better percentage of persons able to be killed = more deaths. Right?!?

Gay Marriage:
July 12, 2002 - Two years ago John Kerry signed a letter issued by homosexual Rep. Barney Frank urging Massachusetts state lawmakers to drop an amendment limiting nuptials to a man and a woman.
- JazX0
liberal?
Feb. 26/2004 - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said he supports amending the Massachusetts Constitution to ban gay marriage, as long as it provides for civil unions for same-sex couples.

depends.
troops on combat duty, sure. troops on guard duty, not so sure.
The fact is that the Pentagon has been understaffing both Iraq and Afghanistan. (thank rumsfeld) You have stressed out soldiers, you have trigger happy soldiers.
Yes I support more soldiers in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Basically it boils down to this. If Gore had one we'd be in the same boat. Shit, if ANYONE were president we'd be in the same boat. Gore and his adminstration wouldn't have been able to stop 9/11. We would have then retaliated and gone after those responsible. Blah blah and he we'd be. And instead of all the Bush bashing we'd be Gore the bore bashing instead and it would be the same jokes, different name inserted here. So now what do you do?
I wish to high heaven that the next president will be able to fix everything and make it all better but if you believe in that I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. It all comes down to money and power, and whomEVER is in that top position will continue to fuck shit up no matter what. History tells us so.

We wouldn't be in Iraq if Gore were president.

I see it like this:
The war in Iraq, and the threat of terrorism exists, bottom line. It's not going away. Duh, we need a President who will be forceful about it, and obviously Kerry isn't going to go in and say "All troops out of Iraq."
It's a big problem that's going to be around no matter if Bush is reelected or if Kerry is elected and serves for 8 years and then Edwards is president for 8 years. What I want to hear them talking about are the issues right here within our borders. I'm sick of overseas outsourcing, and tax breaks to the wealthy, and big corporations for sending jobs overseas.
That is all nonsense and does nothing to aid in the right of every American to pursue the ideals set forth when the country was born.
Obama talked about it in his speech. Edwards talked about it last night. I want to see Kerry make a steadfast declaration that he is going to reverse all the crap that Bush set in motion for the greater good of this country WITHIN OUR BORDER.
We have the opportunity to excel at everything, develop technologies that help us move away from depending on oil, do things to protect the environment, etc, etc, etc and BUSH TALKS ABOUT NONE OF THAT. He just keeps eroding the ground we stand on.Is it too much to hope that Kerry will smash those things to bits and do some good?

You have to work within the framework of the legislature. Do you know what the term 'pork' means when talking about legislation? If not, it is when members of the leg. load down a bill with other issues and language that sometimes favors campaign contributors, pushes dissimilar issues through and that sort of thing. Flip Flop is a ridiculous knee-jerk reactionary thing to say.
Bush needs to do some fucking flip-flopping, he called himself a 'peace president' the other day, when 6 months ago he called himself a 'war president', its all horseshit. People act as though Bush doesn't use pollsters.
- JazX0
I'm not so sure? Well, you would still have Sahdam in power and fucking his own people up.
Not that the entire US occupation was good.
What's the time record for overthrowing another country?
- JazX0
haahahaaa BS: http://www.washingtontimes.com/b…
and where is a ton of his money coming from?
Republican Sen. H. John Heinz III, who was killed in a 1991 plane crash.
- mrdobolina0
but we didn't go to iraq to liberate them, it was because we were in imminent danger from the evil saddam's chemical and nuclear weapon programs.
when fucking pakistan is selling nukes to anyone who has the money to buy them.

We wouldn't be in Iraq if Gore were president.

I'm not going to search for the articles, but both Al Gore and Bill Clinton were asked what they would have done in terms of the troops sent to Iraq and the BOTH said they would have done the same thing but sent MORE troops.

don't forget about the Russians or is it the mafia there that are still selling both chemical and biological weapons to Arab and African nations everyday. .You should have seen some of the Russian weapons I saw in Africa. All for trade with 'yellow cake' a form of African Uranium used for energy and bombs.
