He's wishy-washy, looking at it objectively. He's also got more money, through marriage, than all the Bush's combined. So, him being liberal is a bit funny to me.
Sarah 'Heinz' Kerry is worth 3 Billion from her marriage to the late Senator John Heinz from Pittsburgh, PA.

Teresa é portuguesa. É suficiente para mim.

Jaz what? cos he's rich he's not allowed to be liberal? please explain what him having money has got anything to do with him being a good/bad el presidente
- loudubs0
what's not to like?

you go back to every president who ever existed and there is what, maybe 10 different families. They are all from the same bloodlines. Kerry and Bush are related, they both are members of the same 'secret' society, blah blah blah... you're pretty much voting for the same puppet.
Nader has my vote and no I don't think I'll be throwing it away. Hopefully he gets enough to scare the hell out of both parties in knowing we're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore.

the whole bush/kerry thing boils down to............ would you rather have piss pie, or shit cake?

Kona, in regards to what you just said:
What are your reasons for voting for Nader? Is it simply because of dissatisfaction in Republicans and Democrats? Are you aware of Nader's stance on the issues at hand and can you tell me what they are?
- k0na_an0k0
Yup mg33. I've been a fan of Ralph Nader for quite a few years. I like what he stands for and I like his ideas for America. I've followed him for a while now. You really want me to list them all?!?
- loudubs0
well, it's just common sense. I voted for Ralph Nader...I wish a guy like Ralph Nader or Dennis Kucinich could get the ultimate executive power to really "transform our reality" or shift the paradigm, but what we have right now (based on bloodlines or class power or whatever) is an extremely intelligent, open minded nominee in John Kerry who will give voice to some of the movements we wish were more of a focal point this year.
and by the way

And I'm not trying to argue with you, just want to keep the discussion going.
I keep thinking that those who so quickly say they will vote for Nader just because of dislike for Bush or Kerry or Reps or Dems, if it's just for that reason, isnt' that as uninformed and misguided a reason as saying "Vote for Kerry because he's the lesser of two evils?"
Those voting for Nader, what do you see in his Party? Do you see a means to proivde more support to something that will (not likely) break down the two party system?
- unfittoprint0
people who diss Nader don't respect a truly democratic system.
he's a courageous politician that became a scapegoat of a continuous desilusion towards the two main parties policies and objectives, wich resemble each other more and more each day.
useful vote = useful idiot.

"if youre going to vote for kerry just to oust bush, that is foolish and ignorant. get some better reasons than that. a democracy is supposed to be run by informed voters, and voting that way is negating the whole purpose of the system."
objective thinking :)

whats the point voting Nader? He might become exectuive but the Senate and Congress will still be controlled by the Republicans (with a lil help from the Democrats). And they'll do all they can to fuck up his tenure. Kick his ass so hard that the next Nader wannabe will feel it. The boy wont be able to get shit done.
You need revolution.
