Don't call her under ANY circumstances no matter the pain. DO NOT contact her for any reason. oh man... you'll see. she'll be giving you a call soon works like magic. go find some girls. they may not smell the same but go find em. hang out with them it'll be even more potent cuz you won't want them. they will fall all over you sensing that you don't want them. you'll be laid in no time.

probably the hardest part is that i can't fly to germany anymore to see her. I'll never see her again, and the last day I saw her was Valentine's Day. How fuckin sad is that? :(
Of course I still love her. We thought we were soulmates.

jesus you're a sap...I am trying to be understanding here, but discussing this over a message board...man, she was right to dump you

Thanks a lot MR_T. I guess it's time to end this thread.

In 6 months time, you'll look back on this and treat yourself with the same disdain I am treating you with now.
Get a spine and get on with your life.

Fifty, please don't listen to Mr_T. Everyone needs a little help & encouragement sometimes. It doesn't usually matter where you get it from, from NT or elsewhere. Hopefully we've helped you out a bit.

Oh lord, you're not american are you?
Not everything in life can be solved with a couch session with Oprah.
Toughen up you bunch of pansies

MR_T obviously you have never really been in love before and had your heart broken after sharing your life with her for years. And clearly you don't know the woes of a long distance relationship and knowing that it's likely you will never see the one you love again.

That is the funnies thing I have ever read. I can;t beleive that you were actually serious when you wrote that crap.
Get over yourself.

hope this repsonse doesnt suck. ..
but you could go into an ER ward and find someone who has their head smashed in....then you'll be like "yeah, I did lose my girl, but I still have my face!"
- TryAgain0
you could see the The Passion or Saving Private Ryan or infact any semi realistic movie with gore....and then say to your self ..
"phwoaar, I may have lost my girl, but at least I still have my legs, and my arms and my legs. phwoaar"

as i think y'all have solid points, even mr. T.

oh I like mr_T's replies. He is fucking realistic. You are trying to be arabesque in every sense from the first thread to the last fifty. There has to be some progress after all what people have written to you. Instead you are still trying to stick to that dead-end feeling. Get rid of this loop man, it is no good. Be a good guide for the younger generations, I am sure there are peeps here 14-17 ages and get scared after this thread. yeah come back 6 months or whateever later and see for yourself.

If you start discussing this kind of stuff on NT... you've got to expect to get some shit. I know we talk alot of shit non-design related, but c'mon, you should be talking to your mates/family/psychiatrist about this.
If I found out that my ex came on to a design forum to discuss our break-up, I'd have to murder him... and it'd give me more reason to be glad that we split up in the first place.
This reminds me of that dumb suicidal bird that posted around Christmas time. Jeez.

Alright guys, you all have solid points... even MR_T. I won't bring everyone down with my melancholy posts anymore. It's just that I had no one else to talk to. All of my friends are at Uni. or at work. The rest of them who I still hang out with have already heard it all before. It's just good to have some third-party opinions.
A small apology to the 14-17 year olds out there. It may seem like the end of the world but the worst thing you can definitely do is do something dumb like suicide. I'd never do that anyways.Anyways I'm done with this topic. I'm feeling better a little bit each day so I have no reason to mope anymore. Thanks to everyone.
