dude this is creaping me out..
I am currently also 21.. and have a gf in germany she looks very similar to your gf.. and I live in Toronto she lives in Germany.. we see each other every 3 months.. we talk everday and everything is great.
She also has tough school and she studies a lot.. which means she has almost no free time right now. Same goes with me.. I also think she might be the one..
I feel sorry for your situation I hope my relationship doesn't end up like this.
And the worst thing that freaks me out about this is that one of your pictures I noticed is from PRAGUE?? are you fucking serious? I met my girl in Prague.. this is way to creapy..
How much did you pay for your tickets when you flew there? I don't know anyone at the airport im going bankrupts.
all the best

Well LefebrB, some slight differences... that picture's not from prague, that's in Regensburg, i'm guessing you thought that because of the bridge? that's actually germany's oldest stone bridge. Can't remember what year it's from but it's pretty damn old.
Be careful with her school, man, because school over there is VERY stressful and the professors there are very strict. The stress from my gf's (ahem, ex-gf) schooling really got to her and made her break down over the past year. Be there for her as much as you can. Help support her. Be her shoulder to lean on. Don't let her get weak. She knows you care about her but don't make her take care of you... TRUST ME. Anna had very little free time either and it made it hard for her to balance time between her studies and me, EVEN when I was there to visit her. Enjoy every waking, and sleeping, moment with her because you never know, one day it might blow up in smoke like with me. I wish you the best of luck.
That is pretty creepy how similar our stories are... Toronto and Germany. Mind if i ask what part of Germany she's from? I always flew in to Munich cause she lives close to there.

oh and by the way, my mom works for Air Canada so I could fly there for just over 100 bucks, round trip, standby. So sometimes I would fly first class for 1/50th of the price! ;D

Fuck I should really think more before submitting a post... DO YOUR BEST to learn German. She'll REALLY appreciate it. Enroll in a class if you need to, but if you DON'T learn German soon (like I didn't) then she will think you're not putting enough effort into it, even if you visit every 2 or 3 months like I did too.

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours to keep. If it doesn't, it was never meant to be.
I am not trying to be cruel when I say this, but it is my sincere opinion, as a totally objective party to a snapshot of your currently tumultuous world, that unless she is--not looks like--but is Julia Roberts, going to Germany will not help. There is only ONE way you can get her back, and that is to live well and focus on kicking some serious ass in whatever you feel passionate about other than her. Ergo, she must come to you, and there is nothing you can do to influence this occurance other than get on with the business of living life solely for yourself. Mind how many people have repeated the same advice over in this thread.
Love is blind, love is blinding.
Did you buy your journal yet, my friend?

"Stop worrying about what’s going to happen when your 30. Start worrying about what’s going to happen tomorrow."
HUUUUUGE!
- hahakid0
forget about that stupid contract and what she said about you being husband material or whatever it was, if anything is going to keep you from being happy that is it, if she really loved you she should've realised how damaging that was going to be, damn!
And do print out kbags advice and read it again and again, now!

she lives in Suest so I take the Dusseldorf route.
as for the german language I am learning it slowly..but she sais she doesn't want me too..
I know what you mean about the school fuck i would have killed myself long time ago for what they have to go through.
sorry for the mistake of Prague :) the bridge looks exactly the same :) from that angle.
As for flying I have to get a job at the airport..
As some of you mentioned I am not looking for what will happen in the future.. i live day by day.. so whatever happens happens.. i can only hope for the best.
As for your breakup.. what you mentioned is she just needs a "brake" and she mentioned that maybe when she is 30 she will restart the relationship. sorry to give you the bad news.. but when its over its over. she will not wait for 30 and I suggest you don't wait either. You have to understand that if you want and she doesn't you will live a lonely life.
So move on.. that would be my advice. and let her know that you are moving on. Hopefully she will think about it and take you back. if not then it means its over for good.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... This is a long distance relationship? Man, you should have said that. THEY NEVER WORK OUT in most cases. Been through too, too many and it always gets f*cked in 99% of the cases. Although, I am with you, because I plan on marrying a girl born in Angola, raised in Germany and now living in Namibia. ;)

yeah... I guess my hopes were just a little too high for this relationship. I did take it day by day, but she kept mentioning how she had dreams of moving to Canada one day and we started making plans for the future. I'm glad at least that it lasted as long as it did, but the pain I think will take a very long time to go away.

that kinda shit SUCKS man, sorry to hear that, been through it with a Finnish and an African (couloured) chick in the past Ain't no fun.
- kbags0
Well hey bro, you're starting to make some sense.
Day to day, you'll still go back and forth in your head for a short while, but the bouts will grow shorter and shorter over time, and you'll start having them less and less...so just try to keep reminding yourself when you're down that it's just a chemical thing and it's temporary.
Think positive, read, work out, exercise, and write it all out. You've got a big heart, and there's plenty of happiness in the world for you to get your share...respect yourself and you'll be golden in no time. I promise.
I'm gonna step off my crate and sign off from this thread on that note. If you want, you can email me and I'll gladly continue pestering you.
NOW, GO BE A BADASS.
