Yesterday during a pool party, my iPhone slipped out of my shirt pocket and went into the pool. I bought it a few weeks ago as a replacement to an iPhone that I had smashed to pieces. So now I need to buy another one today, and then I'll probably buy another one next month when the iPhone 5 comes out. Sonovabetch.

just got back from "live at squamish festival" in B.C Canada. surprisingly no topless girl this year. And that one asshole photographer who mount his camera on a monopod and placed it right infront of the stage! blocking all other photographers view. dick head!

called 9-1-1 the other night...
It was about 1:45 am... I just walked out of a Circle K. As I was unlocking my truck something caught my eye up in the sky... this odd floating ball of fire...
... and then another... then another trailing it... ... approx 7 in total. Mind you this is right in the heart of Phoenix... just a couple blocks from downtown.So I called 9-1-1... seemed like the right thing to do as I watched these balls of fire slowly go overhead... ... they weren't going up or down... just kinda floating on by...
I'm guessing they went out before hitting the ground... I even got a little video of it on my phone... but it's not all that exciting...
I never did hear or read a news article if anything came of it.

An update on my wet iPhone from the previous page:
Instead of caving to pay $500 to replace the phone, I went home, opened up the phone completely, took everything out, and replaced all of the paper sensors (the ones that turn pink when wet) with some homemade replicas. It took the entire day up until 2am. I had to cut tiny circles and rectangles with crazy precision, and was wearing surgical gloves to avoid getting fingerprints inside the phone; because once you open the phone, your warranty is voided. If they see prints... game over. It was a true pain in the ass having to deal with how tiny and delicate everything inside was.
After placing the fake paper into some really tight spaces and sewing the phone back up, I took it to an Apple store. They opened it, saw no evidence of it ever being wet, and I was handed a brand new phone.
The hardest part was finding a good match to the real sensor paper. Then I realized I had what I needed right in front of me... Apple stickers. They were a 90% match. The guys at the Apple store could never tell.
