So i try to explain to the girl that this is redonkulous and i don't mind paying, and she tells me that i should get in a taxi and go to their shop half way across town, get a number, sit in a waiting room for half an hour with my passport where i might be able to find someone who will give me a different answer.

some advice:
don't lose your wallet while on a 14er in colorado. really complicates things like flying w/out a drivers license (can't wait to talk with the tsa agents), basic nutrition like food/water. and try to have more than a half tank of gas at all times (good thing i did). fml.
