Couldn't bring myself to wear any Calgary Flames gear last nite. To be honest, it would have been in poor taste. I did cheer for both teams though. Much like I do when I watch the Pirates play the Yankees. I'll outwardly support the Pirates, but I still cheer on the Yankees just the same.
The only pocket of Flames fans were about 5 rows ahead of me, and they traveled from some town in Canada I can't remember to come see them play Sid the Kid.
The playoffs are starting soon, and I'm getting pretty excited for them. There really is nothing like playoff hockey. The Penguins are hitting on all cylinders as of late too, it's really incredible.
D.C. to go see the Pens play the Caps, and down to see them in Tampa for the Lightning are the slated trips for next season. That of course is not counting any random playoff trips that may happen at the drop of a hat again, haha.
I'm still pushing for Ottawa to see the Sens. The start off to this season in Sweden really messed up their schedules. That would have to be a SAT game though.
Of course I'll be dead before next season anyway.
