I keep posting because I think these will be too long for notes;
He was one of those people who you think you’ll be friends-for-life with, but after the last day of school I ran into him once. He said he had to go because he needed to buy a dinner set and that was it. Not a peep for 23 years. What’s really strange is we had a very similar journey through the music industry, but never crossed paths. He also has me now tracking down his ex-girlfriend.

It is my firm belief that you have to be ok with the possibility that you are going to completely get shat on if you post your work here for crit. In fact, you should count on it.
i never post anything i've done here because i know that if someone takes a really good swipe at it, that's all i'm gonna hear in my head the next time i work on something- i envy people who can brush it off, detach themselves from their work and weather the criticismlocustsloth
