dunno...why I feel like I shouldnt say anything after that dfive comment...
maybe you dont realize how some posts in the NTB come offI used to look at Newstoday as always posting the best of the best in web design...then that started to shift into "I post my friends website"...little bashing here and there...etc etc...just last week someone posted in the NTB that BNS was biting the newstoday format, is that bashing? Matter a fact there was two NTB posts dissing BNS. It doesnt sound like the people in the PV-AN need to chill to me

Petter ... no reason, just like putting faces to names. I'm funny that way. Please take any comments with a grain of salt ... I was caught up with the whole ridiculousness of this thread and thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. Guess I'm a shit disturber. Like I said, I'm funny that way.
Don't you wish that there was some way people could sense the tone in which you write these comments sometimes?

I think that both of the last two comments are good points. I agree with that old saying my parents use to teach me, " if you don't have something nice to say..." you know how it goes. I honestly didn't see any harm or direct resemblence in BNS site to NT.
Also, I see Petter's point. We were discussing it the other day here at Juxt when the I2 book arrived. You can look at it two ways, Petter's way or just the fact that these artist are selling their work to redisctribute. Also, whether or not you or anyone thinks it's " out-dated " who cares. If you think you can do better work, then why aren't publishing companies calling you?

I would like to see alot more criticism coming from the NTB though. I guess its fair enough that it should be made in a constructive manner. But really, we pat each other on the back too much in this industry, we need a few more devils advocates who are going to tell us we are shit in order for us to develop thicker skins.
