trace route is helpfull as well. It took me 24 steps to get to 66.6.7.10, but step 23 timed out. The last step I can get information from was 22:

Again it's a cttel server.

im in CT, as well as a few other users here. we probably have friends of friends that can help when you have some more info..

i have just spoke to the main guy @ cttel - he said unless i subpoena him they cannot give me any information. im looking now how to get that subpoena to his office in CT. definately learning alot from this experience all around.......

ISPs usually carry access logs of who was logged into which dialup account when. They could literally trace this guy to where he is based on the previous post's information.

so then once i can supoena the cttel.com site they will have to give me that information?
they are the isp being used here?
