with much frenzy, this thread went from 'he stole my site' to the 'secret service is on the case'.. now there is no updates whatsoever even after many people helped him out.. either this guy is a complete prick - or i have to call bullshit.

it's not bullshit. i'm the designer that was hired to design the site by AdDesigner who is in NY.
the fbi is involved becuase of the amount of $ involved but in all honesty seeing as how they're on another continent i don't see what they can do.

if they are involved because of the amount of money involved - it just seems kinda weird that this guy was only found out to be a scammer after the fact.
I think some due dilligence was seriously missing on this one.

not really. the guys from switch were really smooth about it. they waited until the last post was made to download everything from my site. and only after they recieved everything that way did they dissapear and not pay.
they were always making contact via email and phone, and were very polite the entire time.
bastards.

Sorry no updates been working on alot of other business :) I cannot do much more until they upload to public domain - right now switch.net is pw protected...my thought is they could be redirecting it to another url some place and Im not sure how to figure that out.
The internet fraud dept of the US govt and the Secret Service unit here in my area of NY is still on this case and will continue to be. I have a signed contract from them, numerous emails and 2 phony fax documents from LLOYDS TSB in London which stated that they were wiring the funds into my business account. The documents are still "under investigation" - the govt has a fuckload more to deal with then this 2 bit ass hole so im not expecting anything too exciting unless they upload to public domain or i can find they are redirecting the switch.net site someplace.
I do appreciate the help you guys have hooked me up with and ive sent you all emails thanking you for any and all help and will continue to be very appreciative of help in any way with locating these bastards. Its certainly not millions of bucks but they have done many illegal things here and the only people who handle this sorta shit legally is the secret service/internet division of the fbi and any lawyer id want to hire. Id like to punch the focker square in the nose - that would please me enough to forget the whole thing :p
