    Eh, fucking hell.

    Out of the blue, an ex-GF of mine from when I was 16 (30 fucking years ago) reached out to me on FB. We'd crossed paths and chatted briefly once or twice over the intervening years before I moved to Europe in 2006, but nothing substantial, and I was really quite happy to leave the past behind.

    Anyway, there was really nothing out of the ordinary with her when we were dating. Cute, girl-next-door type. Well-mannered, seemingly well-raised, was an OK student ... overall, pretty nondescript, as a person. Just didn't work out between us.

    Anyway, it took less than two minutes for this FB conversation to get fucking surreal, including choice nuggets like:
