Holy shit! Out of the rubble and flames of my move I found a script I wrote with my neighbor when I was a tween! I wrote it in 1996 and I was inspired to write after watching TRAINSPOTTING! What craziness is on this disc? Now I have to buy an external drive to read this GenX disc. It might melt since it hasn't been touched since the 90s and totally missed the turn of the century. I was balls to the wall serious bout that life at 12. I definitely went feature length with it. Now I'm just hoping I can recover it.

I'm thinking about doing a table read of this script with friends and not reading it beforehand.

    • please do show us at some point.pango
    • I'm scared. But for the sake of 90's time capsules I will. One thing I know for sure, the script formatting was nice.shellie
    • shellie, I hope you can recover it, the magnetism has likely failed. I lost midi files, song lyrics, and my first font on an old floppy disk :(imbecile
    • I'd take the disk to a service center before wasting money on the drive.imbecile
    • @imbecile is this considered a floopy? At least its not a zipdisc :D that never caught on.shellie
    • @imbecile I called a couple places in Burbank (movie old format/disc central) and they all said they'd have to buy the same external drive i found.shellie
    • @shellie, yeah, I consider 5.5" & 3.5" to be "floppy" due to the disc inside. Sucks they don't have anything for you to test on. Good luck just the same!imbecile

    • You should produce it. Act it out with friends, and film it with whatever cameras you happen to have!

    • Also you should burn the data to a CD and do similar lettering and throw it the bottom of a box so you can re-create the same fun experience in a ten years.
