vibe-coded this realtime* stable diffusion drum machine at the weekend and found the hihat man.

I’ve been experimenting pretty heavily with Seedance 2.0 and this is one of the results.
The main reason I made this was to stress test the prompting process while building a Seedance 2.0 prompting guide. I wanted to run a real project through it, see where the model breaks, refine the instructions, and figure out what actually helps when trying to get better cinematic results.
The video started as a fake Japanese-style ramen spec ad, but really it became a test for action, pacing, product reveals, and visual continuity. This probably took a few days of prompting and around $300 in credits to get to this point.
It’s definitely not perfect. There are plenty of weird discrepancies and AI artifacts throughout, but compared to where this stuff was even six months ago, it feels like night and day.
The guide I’m putting together is meant to be uploaded to your LLM as a project file, so you can talk through your idea and have it help structure cleaner, more usable Seedance 2.0 prompts. Ideally, it saves time, credits, and a lot of trial and error.
I’ll probably have it up on my site later today.
- groovy, the fight in the end .. shouldnt she be damaged when the one swat bloke fires at here.?. or gives the ramen bullet proof skin...neverscared
- oh man there's WAY more discrepancies than that lol, but yeah dude shooting her is like a damn storm trooper + he's not directly aimed at her..********
- more like in between the 2********
- one discrepancy that bugged the hell out of me was the interior of the alley open doorway, but I was like, I'm not wasting another $20 on that shit lol********
- I'd buy that ramen.bezoar
- love the ending LOLutopian
- still has that glow or blurpango
- sure there are more wrongs in the video, but that seems the hardest because he stand 2 meter from here and its hard to miss her from that distance..neverscared
- i guess thats where the precision ends and the slop starts generally speaking.neverscared
- Yes, how do we get that glow/blur away? This is still what bothers me most with AI because it simply reminds me of its beginning.Longcopylover
- No disrespect, but this is bad on so many levels.ApeRobot

- Nice, I've been experimenting with anime a lot lately as wellGuyFawkes
- Every time you type an AI prompt, you should be forced to watch actual skill at work. It's kind of weird that it's embraced here.garbage
- https://www.youtube.…garbage
- You assume I don't already appreciate real human-animated anime? I'm just having some fun and posted it in the "QBN'r AI Slop" thread.NBQ00
- Do we care that you did this in 5 seconds with ai for a couple of bucks (if that) vs a sweatshop in Korea with hundreds of animators taking months and getting_niko
- ...paid fuck all? I honestly don't know. This doesn't offend me as much as I thought it would._niko
- what was this done in BTW?_niko
- ^lolGuyFawkes
- asking for a friend?GuyFawkes
- This is a scene part of a 1min anime short that I may post here when finished. Not just a prompt and a few seconds but definitely faster than "sweatshops" :)NBQ00
- Character-, Vehicle-, Weapons-, Environment-Sheets + Cuts Styleframes created with Claude MCP to Higgsfield and Nano Banana/ SeedreamNBQ00
- Detailed action, camera and timings prompts for each cut then used as inputs along visual references and styleframes into Seedance 2.0 4K. Put together in AENBQ00
- Even when this is polished, it does take the shine off any craft it touches. It's taking the art out of art, and I don't think my point is indefinsible.garbage
- Not even going to touch the "training your replacement" element of it all. I honestly don't mind, but will talk shit until the world ends in a few ticks.garbage
- Relax a bit dude, it's not going to hang in the Louvre. Nor am I competing with the great Japanese animators. Just having fun in the "QBN'r AI Slop" thread.NBQ00
- Thanks nbq. Imagine what was needed to put this together even 5 years ago. I have an idea for an anime film, I’ve written a draft but need an editor to polish i_niko
- It, then I need a few artists to help refine my character sketches, then I’ll need a storyboard artist or two to help lay it all out, then I’ll need animators t_niko
- To draw every single frame- 24 per second, then I’ll need background artists and then I’ll need about 15 sweatshop colorists, then editors to piece it all toget_niko
- And to do all that I need finding so I’ll have to beg, borrow or steal or convince investors to take a shot on this. When all is said and done it’s a massive an_niko
- Expensive undertaking that 99.9999% of the world doesn’t have access to. Imho this levels the playing field and gives everyone the means to pull it off._niko
- For me, the fine line is creativity vs grunt work. As long as you conceive, write, sketch out, design the characters etc then I’m fine with ai doing tweens and_niko
- All the nitty gritty grunt work. If you look at any short animated film from the Oscars or anywhere, you’ll see written and directed by so and so, then when you_niko
- ...see the credits you see that it took another 100-200 people to make it happen, but all the praise and credit goes to the writer/ director_niko
- This is sort of the same thing, ai replaces the behind the scenes artists, musicians and craftsmen, and money needed to pull it off...for better or for worse._niko
- But to be clear these are my feelings for animated work, live action I’m totally against just too weird and off-putting...and dangerous._niko
- Good lord what is happening here? My point was simple: AI is for the artless and lazy. It has been for a very long time.garbage
- Ok dude, go on and create a 1-2min anime in this quality yourself for 2-3 years of "non-lazy" animation labor. Not that you could anyway. I just want some fun.NBQ00
- Seems it's hitting a nerve. If it bothers you so much no need to check this thread.NBQ00
- Not hitting a nerve. I'm just using less effort than AI to make make you defensive. Unless "Feed" blows your mind, you should know I'm not seeking you out.garbage
- Just funny you come to argue here in the "AI slop thread" where we just have some fun and don't post your opinion about these here: https://tinyurl.com/…NBQ00
- Just sensing some insecurity. We talk shit and critique here, no?garbage
- It's called "AI slop"-thread and these are not finished. I'm just having fun. You didn't critique, just ranting about how using AI is lazy and so on.NBQ00
- I think what's lazy is assuming it's easy and it's just 1 prompt. I've literally spent 2 days on 1 shot for google.GuyFawkes
- I think what people miss is that AI creation can be lazy, or it can be an interesting creative technical challenge. I was really losing interest before theyuekit
- paradigm shift happened with coding agents around the beginning of the year.yuekit

There's some really good submissions at the Higgsfield film festival competition. These are public progress submissions, many aren't finished yet.
This one in particular stuck with me, really well done and well written too:
https://higgsfield.ai/@seeyousoo…
For now over 2K+ submissions are being done in public. Maybe just as many who are being worked on in private.
Will be interesting to see the winners. Submission deadline is Sept 14th.
- still weird. it's like we're watching invasion of the body snatchers in real time. They look human but are definitely soul-less_niko
- Fuck higgsfield, buy a GPUGuyFawkes
- Buy GPU? Seedance 2.5 (the best video model) is a closed cloud model that can't run locally.NBQ00
- @niko it's still impressive quality when you consider just 1-2 years ago something like this was impossible to do in this quality. Only going to get better.NBQ00
