I’ve been experimenting pretty heavily with Seedance 2.0 and this is one of the results.

The main reason I made this was to stress test the prompting process while building a Seedance 2.0 prompting guide. I wanted to run a real project through it, see where the model breaks, refine the instructions, and figure out what actually helps when trying to get better cinematic results.

The video started as a fake Japanese-style ramen spec ad, but really it became a test for action, pacing, product reveals, and visual continuity. This probably took a few days of prompting and around $300 in credits to get to this point.

It’s definitely not perfect. There are plenty of weird discrepancies and AI artifacts throughout, but compared to where this stuff was even six months ago, it feels like night and day.

The guide I’m putting together is meant to be uploaded to your LLM as a project file, so you can talk through your idea and have it help structure cleaner, more usable Seedance 2.0 prompts. Ideally, it saves time, credits, and a lot of trial and error.

I’ll probably have it up on my site later today.

    • groovy, the fight in the end .. shouldnt she be damaged when the one swat bloke fires at here.?. or gives the ramen bullet proof skin...neverscared
    • oh man there's WAY more discrepancies than that lol, but yeah dude shooting her is like a damn storm trooper + he's not directly aimed at her..YakuZoku
    • more like in between the 2YakuZoku
    • one discrepancy that bugged the hell out of me was the interior of the alley open doorway, but I was like, I'm not wasting another $20 on that shit lolYakuZoku
    • I'd buy that ramen.bezoar
    • love the ending LOLutopian
    • still has that glow or blurpango
    • sure there are more wrongs in the video, but that seems the hardest because he stand 2 meter from here and its hard to miss her from that distance..neverscared
    • i guess thats where the precision ends and the slop starts generally speaking.neverscared
