Netanyahu and MBS probably see this as the last window of opportunity to take down Iran. Trump's party is likely to get destroyed in the midterms later this year, then the rest of his term will be nonstop scandals and investigations. A Democrat is probably more likely to win in 2028, and there's no guarantee that if a Republican wins that they will be as hawkish on Iran as Trump is.
Polls show the younger generation of Americans on both the left and the right are much more negative on Israel.
So this may literally be their last chance, a historic opportunity to fulfill their dream of fundamentally remaking the Middle East. The entire Trump project was building up to this moment, with MAGA just being a means to an end.
