1. Inpainting, is like highlighting things within the photo and editing them. Yes, we won’t have to rely on text prompts as much, we will be able to make changes to photos we generate and likely uploaded images.
2. It gets much better because the 2nd thing that we will be able to do is outpainting, which is essentially expanding on the image. I’ve made videos Leonardo before which currently has this feature but I found myself pulling images from midjourney together alot.
3. Third will be a function that you can input an image and midjourney will create a prompt for it. Its like reverse prompting, so you can upload your own images or images across the web and see what prompt it would take to generate that which will be a great learning tool. To use this function it will be /describe
4. the images are also going to get more high resolution. I know its hard to believe, but they are.
5. Text Support will be coming in version 7 and 8. For whatever reason it is really hard to get text in these images and you have to do it manually and use tools like photoshop.
6. We will see a Web user interface, and likely say goodbye to discord and I think many will be excited to do so
7. Real Time Drawing will be an insane feature if I understand it correctly users will be able to interact with the software as it is generating leading for more precise creations. And this is the main thing I’m looking for with midjourney... More edits, customization and more using AI. Which will feel like AI photoshop
8. And finally they are adding an API so that developers will be able to build custom apps and integrate midjourney into their tools.

- i see political satire is fair game in Region 2 unless you'd like to generate political satire of Region 6. Generating Region 6 political satire will result injonny_quest_lives

"But the year-old company, run out of San Francisco with only a small collection of advisers and engineers, also has unchecked authority to determine how those powers are used. It allows, for example, users to generate images of President Biden, Vladimir Putin of Russia and other world leaders — but not China’s president, Xi Jinping.
“We just want to minimize drama,” the company’s founder and CEO, David Holz, said last year in a post on the chat service Discord. “Political satire in china is pretty not-okay,” he added, and “the ability for people in China to use this tech is more important than your ability to generate satire.”

ChatGPT Prompt Formula for Midjourney 5
Me:
Here is a Midjourney Prompt formula:
A macro photo of a beautiful vivid orchid flower, bright illuminated colors. Photographed with a Canon EOS-1D X Mark III, wide aperture, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens. Photographed for National Geographic.ChatGPT please create a coherent 125 word paragraph spoken by a human with grammatical structure of words and phrases to create coherent sentences with the Midjourney prompt above.
Please respond with "yes" if you understand this formula.
ChatGPT:
Yes, I understand the formula.I recently had the privilege of photographing a stunning orchid flower for National Geographic. The vibrant colors of this flower were truly breathtaking, and I knew I had to capture every detail with my Canon EOS-1D X Mark III camera and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens. Using a wide aperture allowed me to blur the background and draw attention to the intricate patterns and textures of the petals. The lighting was key in highlighting the vivid hues of the orchid, and I made sure to position it in a way that would catch the light just right. The end result was a beautiful and captivating macro photo that perfectly captured the essence of this amazing flower.
- Needs some copy editing... chat gpt is a bit long windedjonny_quest_lives
- "Orchid flower" kinda redundant. Orchids also have sepals not petalsjonny_quest_lives
- It's also 5 words short of 125.jonny_quest_lives
- In Midjourney v5, the more descriptive and or redundant that your prompts are...the better results you will get.utopian
