Everyone is wringing their hands about the cost of Trump's tax bill but there's an easy solution if you extended the tax cuts for the middle and working class only.
Around 70% of the cost is going to give the top 20% a tax cut. Almost half goes to the top 5% of taxpayers ($360k and up). Because these unpaid costs are added to the debt, it then gets owed by all of us.
So in other words you could have a middle class tax cut bill that costs less than a trillion dollars and is paid for, no deficit spending needed. How many times have you heard politicians and the media point that out? They are counting on Americans being too stupid to notice.
