Trump Lap and Republican Georgia Governor explicitly voids mask orders in 15 localities!
Georgia's Gov. Brian Kemp is explicitly banning Georgia's cities and counties from ordering people to wear masks in public places. He voided orders on Wednesday that at least 15 local governments across the state had adopted even though Kemp had earlier said cities and counties had no power to order masks.

A new Post-ABC poll says that 38% of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the virus.
You want to talk about fake news? About media bias?
Facts about America:
1. the richest country in the world
2. the country that brags loudest about its healthcare system (despite having much worse outcomes that most rich countries)
3. A country that had plenty of time to prepare for this pandemic
4. The country with probably the best research and development teams in pharma. One more fact:
The USA is currently THE WORST RICH COUNTRY to be living in based on COVID-19 cases, deaths and outlook. This has been the case for months, with no end in sight. Not to mention wild unemployment numbers, ongoing bailouts and stimulus payments (aka socialism.) Other counties closing their borders to us.
And yet 38% of people approve of this. 38% of Americans say they approve of the President’s actions that led to the richest country in the world being the worst place to be in this crisis.
THAT’S media bias. That’s what the news media and social media is doing. You are blind or insane if you think the Mainstream media is biased against Trump.
- We are the worst? How about India's lockdowns? China's. Get off the antitrump koolaid child********
- Over 40 of deaths are nursing homes. Is that same amongst other countries. Do other countries have nursing home and how do they operate?********
- Just one example of why nothing is straight comparison. But it is funny you acknowledge the USA as the best********

"Working memory capacity predicts individual differences in social-distancing compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States"
"Significance
Before vaccination and other intervention measures become available, successful containment of an unknown infectious disease critically relies on people’s voluntary compliance with the recommended social-distancing guidelines. This involves a decision process of prioritizing the merits of social distancing over its costs, which may depend on one’s ability to compare multiple pieces of potentially conflicting information regarding social distancing in working memory.
Our data support this hypothesis, highlighting the critical role of one’s working memory capacity in social-distancing compliance during the early stage of the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
This observation reveals a core cognitive limitation in one’s response to a public health crisis and suggests a possible cognitive venue for the development of strategies to mitigate this challenge."

Jeezy Creezy, you Americans are so fucking dumb, but fuck me if I don't want you to fight off all that nasty shit out there (and the coronavirus) so you can really be the greatest country in the world.

Was painting a bar in town today, it's having a soft launch tomorrow. It's a small Speakeasy. Just hoping to start to get some customers back through the door again.
As I was leaving tonight folk were quite hammered in the streets, seems it's nearly normalish again, apart from the country-wide perspex shortage and people serving drinks in masks.
The bar manager was super worried about a second spike closing down his business again, he reckoned it could finish a lot of people after spending loads on re-opening.
I was also seeing about painting a bakery last week, slowly starting to open again, they'd spent nearly all their pension keeping the bills paid and getting new PPE and serving stations for opening in a week or so.
I have noticed a lot of people in the street in masks though and folk do seem to be wearing them in shops. Maybe we'll be ok.
