"It was the most demand we have ever seen for a beer. The traffic crashed our @BrewDog website for 9 hours. We sold 648,768 cans (all we could make). This enabled us to make & donate over 100,000 bottles of sanitiser."

“With his abysmal record of failure as a Tory minister, Chris Grayling is the only man who could lose a rigged election.”

Visiting the EU from Jan 2021:
https://www.gov.uk/visit-europe-…
Will need comprehensive health insurance, international driving license, permit if taking car across on Eurostar, A sim card or prepare to pay £££ for mobile phone roaming and new pet travel requirements.
Oh and all paper work delayed due to Covid-19....
People voted for this tuckering shite. And people ripped EU citizenship from 50% of the population against their will.
- And this is all 'might need' as 5.5 months before deadline we still haven't got anything sorted with EU.shapesalad
- If UK reciprocate... or if there's any hassle for EU tourists to UK, forget about quick weekends in London, gigs, theatre, restaurants etc. Dead....shapesalad
- Brexit on top of Corona = death to London's entertainment industry, exhibitions, theatre, etc etc.shapesalad
- Who from EU is going to pop to London for the weekend to catch an exhibition, west end play, fancy restaurant and club in shoreditch? With covid + brexit.shapesalad
- I'm super relieved to now have my SWE citizenship and I will never relocate back to the UK, but I am really worried for my family there. Pure shambles.face_melter
- You need health insurance anyway and as you point out it's all mights and maybes at this stage. Calm down. Personally I foresee another year's due process.Nairn
- we've gone past the point where extra time/process could be a possibility, this is it ... come january '21... we're on our own, deal or no deal ...Bluejam
- Well... it's just going to be shite, no matter what. There isn't going to be any moment where you think, 'ah cool, this is better now'...shapesalad
- eg, before, just use the e-gate at airport, now queue up and be inspected by staff... nothing cool and quick about that to think about...shapesalad
- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯d_gitale
- Just marry a nice EU girlChimp
- I reckon I'll apply for an Irish passport, just in case the UK turns to shit and people start eating each other.PhanLo

If you are selling products on Amazon towards the UK, Amazon will no longer support warehousing and stocking your products on UK soil automatically: that will now be up to the seller.
This also includes filling out complicated customs forms and warehousing data.
The FBA (Fulfilment By Amazon) will no longer apply for EU-UK trade, in direction of the UK.
This was just one of the many new trade restrictions unveiled by Amazon today.
- Wonder how this affects EU based drop shippers selling into UK market and the subsequent merchants using them. Probably not good...shapesalad
- Oh no, Amazon can't continue avoiding paying their taxes in the UK and sending back all profit to Luxembourg, nooo.
Fuck Amazon.Nairn

£350m a week sent to the EU instead of spent on the NHS.... that was the Boris Brexit Bus...
“Extra Costs
With 400 million extra customs declarations needed annually, and each costing an average of 32.50 pounds, the extra paperwork will add about 13 billion pounds of costs to U.K.-EU trade annually. And if companies don’t have the right documents, their goods risk being held up at ports, causing traffic jams and supply chain disruption.”
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/a…
13b works out around 250m a week. This is just one extra cost. Pretty sure the others when added to this will exceed the 350m that was on the bus (which turned out to be inflated and false anyway).
- The shitstorm of Covid + Brexit has only just begun, we are truly fucked.fadein11
- It's impressive that people still believe Brexit will improve their lives. Hat's off to the mad bastards.PhanLo
- I'd almost be impressed with the genius of the swindle if it wasn't so dangerous and depressing.fadein11
- Given post C19 inflationary measures, it's actually probably better for it that the UK is able to hard-set its own measures and value outwith an EU context.Nairn
- Although I'd super quick swap that for a multi-Tn pool of resource that we could be part of within the EU, but hey.Nairn
- fadein110
- I wonder if he thought about what leaving the EU will do to the price of gak?face_melter
- He was a big hero of mine growing up (yes I played cricket relatively seriously). Amazed I totally missed his support for Brexit though.fadein11
- I would've been fine with Allan Lamb.fadein11
- the fact that loads of people seem surprised he's a brexiteer goes to show that it isn't a very good reason to write off half the countryFax_Benson
- always seemed like a bit of a dick to me but the shit he's getting on social media is demented.Fax_Benson
- should be aimed at the peerage systemFax_Benson
- I admired him as a great sportsman, just saying I never knew he was a Brexit ambassador and amazed I missed that throughout.fadein11
- I wasn't writing off half the country.
How was he a dick to you?fadein11 - Also haven't seen any backlash, is it on Twitter? I rarely go on there.fadein11
- just found his commentary / punditry a bit tiresome, which I guess doesn't make him a dick. Not questioning his hero status and yeah, was referring to twitter.Fax_Benson
- The Paul Calf vibes in this photo may have been a sign. He clearly needs to get back on the wackybakky :)fadein11
- there's been a few tweets from women saying they were groped by him in the 80s when they were teenagers. folks that knew him surprised he got thekingsteven
- peerage, anticipating him getting cancelled.kingsteven
- Boycott was convicted for domestic abuse and knighted and still ruins any form of cricket coverage he is asked to do.fadein11
- Never understood Boycott's fame. Quite possibly the most boring player ever, but consistently boring I guess. And also a loud mouthed idiot.fadein11
- Not really surprising cricket hasn't got woke yet.fadein11
- PhanLo-1
- they're risking their lives and the lives of loved ones to go and celebrate the insignificant accomplishments of others?_niko
- To be fair, in Leeds this might be the highlight of their lives.PhanLo
- And the locals wonder why the council tax keeps going up...shapesalad
- Do they?
In this context, do they?
Really?
All of them?Nairn
