£350m a week sent to the EU instead of spent on the NHS.... that was the Boris Brexit Bus...
“Extra Costs
With 400 million extra customs declarations needed annually, and each costing an average of 32.50 pounds, the extra paperwork will add about 13 billion pounds of costs to U.K.-EU trade annually. And if companies don’t have the right documents, their goods risk being held up at ports, causing traffic jams and supply chain disruption.”

13b works out around 250m a week. This is just one extra cost. Pretty sure the others when added to this will exceed the 350m that was on the bus (which turned out to be inflated and false anyway).
- The shitstorm of Covid + Brexit has only just begun, we are truly fucked.fadein11
- It's impressive that people still believe Brexit will improve their lives. Hat's off to the mad bastards.PhanLo
- I'd almost be impressed with the genius of the swindle if it wasn't so dangerous and depressing.fadein11
- Given post C19 inflationary measures, it's actually probably better for it that the UK is able to hard-set its own measures and value outwith an EU context.Nairn
- Although I'd super quick swap that for a multi-Tn pool of resource that we could be part of within the EU, but hey.Nairn
