Online trading has provided lots of investors a reasonably good opportunity to invest in the market. It’s no longer a complex process to start trade; the market has become easily accessible to everyone. In http://www.verifyproducts.com/co… you will find the information about different types of online trading options, as well as the ways to choose a reliable brokerage, and protect yourself from fraud. Trading stocks online is a complete mystery, thus learning ways to do it along with the pros and cons will be very useful for you.

i find it in poor form to try and profit from companies that's only profit from lobbying government hard to take public money for their "good intended" businesses. All it does is creates is a demand of fool politicians who try and out due one another on subsidies for these companies who only have only ever seen profits from the made up currency of carbon credits gifted to them. in this case greed isnt good anyone and self interests have been reversed from usual positive growth to a self destructive growth. but thats life. green energy is the new halliburton
- except it doesn't destroy the environment.
also, what about silicon valley? without the government money they got and get, it wouldn't exist.uan - do you work in advertising in any professional capacity, deathboy?monospaced
- all green tech has its envornmental issues too. At least china has to deal with those. And I don't know what you are referring too about silicon valleydeathboy

- ...yeah stock trading doesn't affect a company's output or how much they sell. Stock prices reflect ppl's confidence in the company's present/future performancesarahfailin

NPR was talking about biotech and companies are trying to get ahead of the next pandemic and MRNA is the future.
What companies are the best to invest in for Biotech? Seems like the move.

All bank stocks are halted, ponzi is up -- what is happening?
- Surprised nobody has been talking about it. Silicon Valley Bank failed last week. Over the weekend, signature bank was shut as well.monNom
- Now other small and midsized regional banks are getting sold as the reason suggested for Silicon Valley Banks failure is endemic.monNom
- That is, an accounting rule change allowed banks to hold some securities in a bucket marked “hold to maturity”. And some in a bucket “Mark to market”monNom
- The smaller mark to market bucket has been losing value as interest rates have been rising. The hold to maturity bucket was on the books at full value.monNom
- Even though it had actually lost value the same as Mark to market. SVB had enough losses between the two that they wiped out all of their equity and had to closmonNom
- As a result: Investors get 0. Insured depositors should get their money but may take a while. Govt backstopping uninsured depositors they say.monNom
- And it seems like SVB is just the tip of the iceberg. First Republic down 63% today suggests they will be next to go. It’s a contagion.monNom
- Lots of commentary over here if you want to follow along. Http://www.zerohedge…monNom

$SNAP -25%
- oh..._niko
- increase of users was probably bots..dropped more then Q1 report and eps was way worsepockets
- snap is falling out of relevancy at lightspeed.pockets
- It's second in the US after tiktok for teens
All social media if they drop bots the real numbers would be scarygrafician - But advertising budgets being cut, all social media will suffer including Meta, Alphabet etc.grafician
- Alphabet still does fairly well (it's not social ads)formed
- good old recession that we aren't in (according to some) is really ruining the funpockets

What I'm interested to see is if meme stocks like Tesla become safe havens of irrationality during this storm, or if they get absolutely hosed and reduced back to sane prices.
The blade of consumer irrationality is usually two-sided. And unless something has fundamentally changed about how markets are picking winner and loser stocks, the meme stocks are about to take a royal shellacking.
- yeah memestocks are slowly bleeding out, services get fckd 100%, rest is running a reality check.
what i don't get is Palantir, what happened therested - PLTR got memed, bro. crashed as hard as it took off. has never posted an annual profit.sarahfailin
- How is Tesla a meme stock?formed
- It's super overvalued, just like gamestop, etc. based on brand popularity not fundamentals.sarahfailin

Are index funds the best and safest investments?
VOO
VII
ARKK
QQQWhich one is best?
- index = all. all = some good some bad. compare indexes to the bigger market index, adjust for inflation + fees.shapesalad
- Hard to go wrong with a major index, if you want a slow but steady long term growth.monospaced
- VOO has a solid record. I just added to my position. I have ARKK, too, but I consider that very speculative.formed

jesus god damn christ! tesla over $1000?? wake me up when this bubble is popped.
Don't forget they did a 5/1 split in 2020, meaning that this price would be $5000 based on the share price from just over a year ago.

Bought $3000 of BED BATH & BEYOND INC stock last month, now I'm down 50%.
Would have thought back to school could have been better.
Should I hold?
- Sell covered callsjohnny_wobble
- First, stock doesn’t go up for back to school season. Also they aren’t a back to school store.monospaced
- last year there were quite a few stocks whose price was affected by the fact that the school season did not started as expected. this view is more due to thatsted
- hold.
25-30 is critical price range.

Fortunately Evergrande is the only severely indebted Chinese business.
...or at least it's the biggest one.
...right??
O.o
- The Chinese Gov. is actually forcing other national businesses to take on the debt of Evergrande - to "keep it in the family" in a way
So expect more bleedinggrafician - I would be more concerned about the US default in October than Chynagrafician
