Discoveries now suggest modern Homo sapiens existed much earlier, around 200,000 B.C.E. This major change in our understanding of human existence spurred new calculations and consultations with experts, resulting in an estimate that about 117 billion members of our species have ever been born on Earth.

"British linguist Richard D. Lewis created communication patterns for negotiations around the world.
"By focusing on the cultural roots, both in society and business, we can foresee and calculate with a surprising degree of accuracy how others will react to our plans for them, and we can make certain assumptions as to how they will approach us." Richard D. Lewis"

Did you know...
In ancient times, maps were usually drawn with east at the top, since that way Jerusalem was toward the top of the map.
The convention to have North at the top of a map came a few centuries ago when European navigators started using the North star and the magnetic compass. Before that, the top of the map was to the East (so that Jerusalem was toward the top) which is where the word orientation comes from.
