32, live on my own in So. California which I feel blessed for because it's expensive.
I can't do room mates anymore. It's a shame that you can make decent income in these big cities (80k +) yet the idea of having room mates is still a feasible one.

How can you be over 30 and be living with someone who isn't a lover?
Get your act together and earn money to get a mortgage.

- Well, NY rent is pretty fucked up. I understand the need for a roommate or 2 if you're single.Maaku

- I actually agree w/ this guy,
*nothing is wrong with renting though.bklyndroobeki - freedom, what happens is this. The kids you thought were your kin and buds, you end up realizing are massive losers. They have to prey on others as roommatesdrake-von-drake
- not only for fiscal reasons (bulk savings) with rent or shared mortgage (far worse idea), but since socially inept they end up being attention leachesdrake-von-drake

I have two little roommates.
The younger one shits his pants, cries, dumps his milk out.The older one pisses all over the toilet and throws his trains.
My wife and I are considering eviction. It's really a moral issue.
