Responding to NBQ00 post about Aqua.... a tiny part of it still lives in the new OS. It's just really really hidden.

Click the + at the bottom leftVoila - enjoy some Aqua nostalgia
- Haven't seen you around QBN so often :) - Anyway, I don't see these in settings. I'm on Tahoe though. But can't remember seeing it in Sequoia either.NBQ00

Just found out the hard way that 'AppleCare One' may cover 3 devices—just not 2 iPhones unless they're exact duplicates of each other (one can't be my wife's and one mine w/different phone numbers / email addresses etc).
I can have my new macbook pro, my new iphone and one more device on my $19.99 / month 'insurance' payment—but not two fucking iPhones apparently unless they're duplicate accounts. I have to add a second monthly insurance payment to back that second phone even though I have space for another device on my current AppleCare One account...
... greedy fucking assholes.
I spoke w/TWO folks directly from Apple support about this today trying to find a way around this nonsense. Both agents had a massive "I'm so sorry" tone and acted somewhat helpless (I can't blame those guys directly as they're mere message deliverers)...
... greedy fucking assholes.

My iPhone fell out of my pocket while riding my bike. Music was still playing and the only reason I knew I lost the phone was when the music stopped. I spent ten minutes looking for it on the street on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. No luck. So, I went home, quite pissed that I lost a 3 month old phone the day after having ordered a new iPad. (They have so much of my money over the last 30 years). I got home and used Find my iPhone to locate it, put it in Lost mode, leave an number to call and made the phone beep. I got a call in a few seconds and was able to go back pick up my phone.

my kid left his bag on the bus on the way to school today.. with his macbook air in in.. he called me all freaked out.
opened find my device and watched the laptop travel back to the bus depot.. arrived a 5 minutes after it did.
kind of crazy technology tbh.. especially as it was just his laptop, not a phone.. still not entirely sure how it was transmitting its location.. must of been be something to do with being near a iphone or something..
eitherway, was relieved to recover the laptop but also that i could watch it in real time
- I have an AirTag on my bike just waiting for the day it's stolen. I'll be able to send a tracking location to the police. It should be interesting.CyBrainX
- yeah was half freaking it wasnt on the bus anymore and i was going to need to get the police involved as it turned up at some trap houseautoflavour
