Haha, totally forgot they had somethign today! I was even talking with a friend about it yesterday.
I guess the fact that QBN doesn't have a dedicated thread, like very other event they've had, says something about where they are.
Did I miss anything?
Didn't think so

Apple Plans Web TV Service in Fall
http://www.wsj.com/articles/appl…Welcome to party Apple, you are about 5 years too late.
- Well, this is definitely the end of Apple. Definitely. Mark my words! You heard it here first! Apple = doomed.nb
- I agree...Too Big to Fail!!!organicgrid
- How are they late when they are the first to do it?monospaced
- What's new? A different station? I see nothing different from what is out there already, just a logo/nameformed
- It's cable offerings without cable. That's pretty different.monospaced
- Which ones? NBC requires cable. ABC I can view online..?formed
- and I still have to pay a monthly fee, so...?formed
- I can hardly wait. Cable has all the best shows.nb
- Don't ask me, read the article before asking questions and making pointless points.monospaced
- Did you read it? I am expecting you to be current on all things Apple. :-)formed

Yeah I agree on the Surface Studio announcement, well timed indeed. I was expecting Apples event tomorrow to be a long over due refresh of their product line to get it up to current specs with a few gimmicky things for candy. Now however it feels like they don't come out with at least something interesting, they are going to fall a little flat.

i know i have some weakness for new tech toys sometimes but i will do my best to not buy the Apple Watch. I'm already connected on a screen almost 15 hours /day, i dont want to fill the empty space with a new tiny screen to look at.
The only thing that really interest me in the watch is all the data collecting about exercise and Health app syncing and sleep time. I like stats and that shit talks to me.
Well.

Jobs knew Apple had no more cool products coming out and faked his death. He's with Biggie and 2Pac in the caribbean.

and if you want to use your iPhone as a drive there's a super simple app for that. I use to have it on my PC... I can't remember the name. No need to jailbreak or anything.. You can store any file on your iPhone with that program. Google it, you'll find it.
You'll be happy to fill the 1,3gb left on your iPhone with 1 HD movie ;)

- sorry mate but you're a proper half-witset
- You still don't get it. I'm talking about Apple restricting their users.set
- You pay twice the price for an iphone and are totally confined to the Apple ecosystem. All I'm saying.set
- I FUCKIN GET IT M8! GET OVER IT! I GOT IT 235 PAGES AGO! GEZZ!benfal99

- did it ever occur to you the users don't actually feel restricted?monospaced
- I know they are, I am, but it's not restricting me from stuff I actually want to do, so it's not a problem, see?monospaced
- I fuckin' hate Android. So each one his camp. Everyones' happy. The End!benfal99

"Apple failed to market the iPhone 12 Pro to the average consumer, analysts say"
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/14/…
If only there were some way to tell that it isn't for the average consumer....

I was looking forward to this as I have a iPhone 5c that's two years old. The thing still looks brand new, still fast, still holds a good charge. I'll keep it until next year and get off of the "S" upgrade cycle.
I have enough shit.
