Pretty interesting Apple/ ARM story

I thought they were meant to be releasing a new iMac design?
- Many thought. It will be unveiled in fall and available in Q4 of this year. Also will be fully ARM based I believe.NBQ00
- Not usually at the developers conference. That’s almost always just iOS and macOS stuff. Fall is new hardware.monospaced

Anyone will jump on this:
'for $32 per month, you can lease an iPhone and then return it for a new model every single year. It also includes the AppleCare+ warranty from Apple'
- looks familiar...oh, right, all the carriers already have the same program...Apple Innovation!formed
- Yeah, except you get Applecare+ AND unlocked phone. Apple Win.ArmandoEstrada

Big Sur...don't like the bubble icons for messages and find my...infact really dislike them...and all the tinyness of everything. Pixie land.

that gap at the top! You'd just level it wouldn't you? Looks shit. 'We cut the top off everything on your screen because we couldn't find another way of doing it'.
An animated panda ffs, deep pixels...I think they've just run out of things to invent or follow. Utter shite and a stupid price to make people think it must be good. Load of people running to A&E because they had an extra beat...brilliant Apple, well done.

"Apple today announced a new Lockdown Mode coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac with iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura. Apple says the optional security feature is designed to protect the "very small number" of users who may be at risk of "highly targeted cyberattacks" from private companies developing state-sponsored spyware, such as journalists, activists, and government employees."
- soo.. that will be the default setting for tin foil hat wears and drug dealers?shapesalad

Interesting how that 3D touch peek feature completely standardizes the look of common buttons/actions (when accessed through that feature). I mean, of course they would do that, but it really gets into the design of the app itself, looking at data on how much people use that stuff.
I mean, once you're in the app, you're really not using the peek feature anymore, but using the app's buttons.
