Did I miss something, or is there no thunderbolt?

I was recently working an event that I designed the environment for, and I was on-site supporting the event team and taking photos for our records. Like most event teams at this firm, they consist of primarily overweight older women.
To the point, almost every single one of these overweight women was wearing a Fitbit, and would not ever shut the fuck up about it. Yeah, I get it, you walked today, a lot of steps, almost like a normal person.
Until this experience of spending every waking moment and meal hearing about their Fitbits while they shoveled fettuccine alfredo into their faces, I had no idea that health-related wearables were actually taking off. But this changed things, and I have no doubt that Apple can get in on this shit and make a fuckload of money. These same women will buy whatever Apple makes because they also have iPhones and shit like that.

Apple to rebrand all it’s refurbished and b-grade products as ‘Banana’ in a new marketing ploy.

"Apple Books TSMC’s Entire 5nm Production Capability"
"TSMC won’t have to worry about finding additional customers for its 5nm line any time soon. If reports are true, Apple bought the entire production capacity for the iPhone, iPad, and other refreshed devices it has recently launched or will launch in the coming weeks. Apple hasn’t refreshed the iPhone yet this year, but it’s expected to do so in October, and the company has had a lock on TSMC’s 5nm production for months.
TSMC will build 5nm chips for the iPhone 12, iPad Air, 5G iPad Pro, and any future MacBook or iMac systems Apple launches with its own custom ARM silicon. In 2019, Apple is thought to have accounted for about 20 percent of TSMC’s monthly revenue, making it one of TSMC’s largest customers."

"Apple Becomes First U.S. Company to Hit $1.5 Trillion in Market Value"
"Wednesday June 10, 2020 8:35 am PDT by Eric Slivka
After a strong performance yesterday that pushed Apple's stock price to another record high, shares are up over two percent again today. With today's boost, Apple's market capitalization has surpassed $1.5 trillion, making it the first U.S. company to reach that mark."

I recently had to upgrade. MacBook Air? I have a iPad Pro but can’t imagine working on it (great for some stuff but not “work” right now). Air is as good / better than my few years old pro. And it’s cheap as chips. Just get more ram (and maybe bigger drive). But that’s always been the case

> Imagine a world where corporations have more power than governments, where corporations control
Some already did.
One of the worst:"The year is 2039. World wars have destroyed everything and territories are run by corporations, the mightiest -- and cruelest -- of which is Tekken"

- ok mono, you really are not a fanboipinkfloyd
- I really am not. I'm actually fascinated at how much attention the naysayers are giving this thread.monospaced
- having an opinion about how something will sell has nothing to do with "fanboi-ism"

Fuck. I just typed up a long post and some weird sideswipe gesture when the keyboard is open will take you back to the previous page you were on. You can sort of grab the left edge and side scroll, and if you do it to quickly in just the right spot the keyboard goes away and you're on the previous page. Weird.
- swipe left is "back" in the browsermonospaced
- but it should not do it when the keyboard is engaged.mg33

I don't know if i'd shell out for one yet but virtually nobody calls me anymore. It's all text, email, fb and whats app these days.
Basically, I would quite happily leave my iphone at home 75% of the time if my watch received text messages and email. Or am I totally over estimating this watches capabilities? LOL
