I've got this. The Logitech Performance Mouse.
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mi…Works good, I don't have any complaints. I've had the MX revolution (above) which worked good too but I think when I bought it the Logitech software sucked.
The two main things that make this mouse great:
- It's wireless and the only thing that it needs to connect with a tiny tiny small USB receiver (tiny as in as wide as a dime and only sticks out of the USB plug a few millimeters). It's not like other bluetooth USB plugs that stick far out.- And finally, the charging method is pure genius. If you've ever had a wireless mouse, you know how much of a pain in the ass recharging can be. Some mice have cradles to charge. That's great and all but you'd have to wait for it to recharge if it was totally out of juice. Some mice use rechargeable batteries, that's such a big pain the ass having to recharge batteries all of the time, swap them out, or replace them when they don't work anymore.
This charger uses a USB plug to charge it that connects to the front of the mouse. So, even if the mouse loses charge, you just plug the USB in and use it just like a wired mouse. Charging issues solved.
- This is actually what I wanted to post...couldn't find the pictureabettertomorrow

- Really dislikes this one. Its huge, and the scrollwheel is awful.

I did some research on mice, mouses, whatever you call 'em a few months ago when I needed a new one.
That above Logitech mouse is the one I really wanted but I couldn't justify the $99 price tag at the time.
For me it's all about the shape of the mouse and how it feels in my hand. I need a mouse with the groove for my thumb on the side, or at least I feel like I do since I've had a mouse like that for years.
In the end I cheaped out and bought the Logitech M705. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mi…
Still a good mouse though the smooth scrolling takes a little getting used to and sometimes it scrolls at unwanted times because it's so sensitive.
I'm going to eventually buy the performance mouse when I see a good deal on it.
- had this one, it was a good mouse. buttons feel quality, thought he scroll wheel detentes are a bit annoyoingmonNom
- "the shape of the mouse and how it feels in my hand" this applies to pretty much all things.poo_haikus

One thing that really bugs me is the weight of a wireless mouse with batteries. Would be cool if they upgraded to triple AAA or even small rechargeable lipo packs.

I used to rock the Micro$oft One Mouse or whatever. Then I couldnt find them anymore and had to pick up something else. I bought an Arc Mouse from Micro$oft, and haven't looked back. No delays, super light and I can easily shut it on and off at night. Bit pricey at $50, but worth it, IMO.

- Best mouse I've used in years
- doesn't feel like many notebook mice which make your hands feel huge
- has some nice weight to it thanks to taking batteries, which also give it veryyyyy long life
- the design is quite restrained, and has some nice finishes (the rubber skirtings for example)
- very small receiver
- literally works on nearly any surface
- has a nice little carrying case for your laptop bag
