Maybe a stupid question, but how do you uninstall the entire CS5 creative suite? there has got to be an uninstall all, right? i'd rather not go into each program and uninstall them manually.
any help/tips?

Yeah, disregard this stupid question. Just ran the Photoshop uninstall, and the option to uninstall all was right there. Oops. Me dumb.

I'm on CS3 at home,
in the office on on CS4
and I downloaded a trial of CS5 but I didn't really see why I should keep it, anyways uninstalling it on a pc was a breeze but I remember when I had to uninstal Cs2 on mac, I spend half a day going step by step,
a real pain in the ass- How many steps did it take you to run the uninstall file in /Applications/Utilit... Installers/ FUCKING LOL Amateur houranimatedgif

I love CS5, never had a single problem. Unlike with CS4 and 3 and so on.

Adobe has an uninstall script somewhere on their site, it wipes clean all remains of their software from the system which normal uninstall won't offer.

When I first installed it I had random crashes during saves that would corrupt the files. Then I had the type tool crashing Photoshop bug for a bit. (which Adobe logged as a known issue) I ran the Apple Hardware Test and memtest on the ram... 3 passes on 12gb's of RAM is day burner to say the least. I then validated all my fonts using font book per Adobe's tech support suggestion. Also ran Font Doctor on just to be safe. Then reinstalled the Creative Suite ran the updates. No complaints since but by no means a smooth transition from CS4 to CS5. I do give Adobe credit it could have been a lot worse since the app was going from 32 bit to 64 bit. The memory test was the worst part of the whole ordeal.
- Now you mention it, I did get one spike that sent my layered file looking trashed and *ucked up... had to start again... thought at the time... if that had been a serious doc I was working on it would have been devastating...

I have no issues with CS5. If any of you are Flash CS4 users. You will love the upgrade. The interface doesn't fall apart in the open/save/import dialogues anymore.

went from CS3 to CS5 and won't look back. love the illustrator updates. just wish they added folders to the layers panel to go along with the new multiple artboards
