When I first installed it I had random crashes during saves that would corrupt the files. Then I had the type tool crashing Photoshop bug for a bit. (which Adobe logged as a known issue) I ran the Apple Hardware Test and memtest on the ram... 3 passes on 12gb's of RAM is day burner to say the least. I then validated all my fonts using font book per Adobe's tech support suggestion. Also ran Font Doctor on just to be safe. Then reinstalled the Creative Suite ran the updates. No complaints since but by no means a smooth transition from CS4 to CS5. I do give Adobe credit it could have been a lot worse since the app was going from 32 bit to 64 bit. The memory test was the worst part of the whole ordeal.

    • Now you mention it, I did get one spike that sent my layered file looking trashed and *ucked up... had to start again... thought at the time... if that had been a serious doc I was working on it would have been devastating...
